Add a Hyper-V role to Windows 2008 R2

  

Check your hardware compatibility if it support Intel VT and configure BIOS properly before adding Hyper-V role

Use Server Manager to add a role or feature,

 Select Server Manager in the tree pane and then, from the Action menu, select Add Roles.

To add a role service for an already installed role, highlight that role in the tree pane and, from the

Action menu, select Add Role Service.

The Add Role Wizard, Add Role Services Wizard will open.

 

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

   

Add VM machines to Hyper-V

 

Deploying and Managing Virtual Machines, You can use the Hyper-V Manager console, either locally (if you’re running a full server installation, not Server Core) or remotely. You can use Windows PowerShell cmdlets or use System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM) 2008 R2 to centralize management of Hyper-V servers and manage cluster “Failover Cluster”

 

 

  

 

 

 

 

      You can install OS in the same way if you install on a physical server (from CD, Network)

     Now I am going to install Windows 2003R2 from image file iso  

     You can add additional IDE or SCSI disks; but keep in mind boot disk should be IDE

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 After OS installation completed, Install Integration Services, to get control muse and enhanced display
